I’ve been staring (drooling) at the images of this house for days!! It’s for sale in Dallas Tx for just under $6 million ( I know…slightly over my price range) & not that I’m looking to move again…EVER! But….I absolutely LOVE every. single. detail. and. furnishing!

Limestone mantels in every room, pale walls & upholstery, wood beams, French & Swedish antiques, gorgeous lighting, a limestone bathtub….and that kitchen!! I could keep goin…..
Thanks so much to Heather from Satisfying Spaces for posting! You can check out her wonderful blog & see more pics here

Stunning! Love the kitchen!
Love love love that house! Its way out of my price range too, but im not moving anyway. I just started a new blog and I am in the process of designing my home and blogging about it. Would you mind checking out the before/after pics on my blog and giving paint color suggestions. I am afraid to go gray because some of my furniture is green and I hate tans, they remind me of mud. I want something light, but my main concern is that is will not show off the windows enough. The home is located near Fredericksburg VA. Thanks so much, I enjoy following your blog. You finished your house waaaay faster than me. I still havent picked out colors! Right now I am thinking about moderate white by sherwin williams maybe…
Linda,
Moderate white has quite a bit of pink in it… Why don’t u try BM natural cream. I used it in my last home, it’s soft but still has enough color to make the trim pop. It comes across creamy but has a bit of gray & green in it which would go great with your furnishings… Good luck!

You have exquisite taste! You are absolutely right–this is a gorgeous house. Elegant details and not overdecorated. I adore the mural in the living room…wish I could afford some de Gournay wallpaper myself
Thank you for sharing the pictures with us!

Hi, Heidi -
Yes, I love all the Swedish pieces. Absolutely divine!! The windows, doors, millwork….I am blown away. I’d never leave that house!!
OMGosh! If you buy that house, can I have the antiques?
Hope you are doing well. Come visit me soon
xoxo,
Loi
Your paintings are exquisite and I am in love with your whole living room – can’t wait to see the mantel installed. Could a wall of mirrored closets be any more beautiful than the ones in the last image…perfection!
