Hello! So happy you are visiting my blog. I am a hairstylist by trade and co-owner of The Secret Garden Salon on Main St in Warrenton Va. I am obsessed with anything to do with interior design & am esp. fond of French & Swedish antiques. I am in the process of purchasing my dream home and thought this would be a great way to keep track of my design ideas and progress on the new house.

Oh my! My heart skipped a beat when i saw you featured on my sweet savannah! I would never forget your tag from rate my space. I was obsessed! I cant wait to see more pictures. I hope you repost some old ones also because when i attempt to view them they will not open? Best wishes for your new blog!
Found you through Melaine’s blog also. PLEASE oh PLEASE will you do a post with your paint colors? I’m moving very soon but repainting everything first and always struggle with finding just the right pallet. Thank you!
the post that Melaine did on my home on her blog has several colors listed, was there a room in particular?
Heidi
Hello! I love your design talents and paint color choices! Oooh my gosh! Could you please tell me the paint colors from your previous home? I adore the neutral main color, with the darker color inside the trim. That color would go so nicely with my current furniture, and im not as talented as you, so it would be much easier to decorate around neutrals! Thanks so much. We are practically neighbors. I live near Fredericksburg Va, and I bet Bethesda would have tons of great antique stores. I have always said that but never went. I have looked for a pecfect neutral for hours and days, and yours is the only one I adored. Thanks soo much!
Linda
I’m not sure which home you’re referring to. Sounds like several houses ago & I truly don’t remember what I used back then. In my previous home I had used Ben Moore natural cream which is a great neutral! Good luck

Heidi,
I am a new follower of your blog. You have a great eye for design! I am particularly drawn to your wall art and color scheme.
I’m not sure if you share details of your own home furnishings, but if you do, I would love to know who is the manufacturer of your chesterfield sofa as well as your round convex black mirror? I found a similar mirror at Random Harvest and think it may be the same.
Love your blog!
Kelli
Thanks Kelli! The sofa is from Arhaus furniture & the mirror is from Restoration Hardware ( its from their “old” look so not available now) Love Random Harvest!!
