Remember this chair?
I have a pair & they were once in my living room.
I never really loved the quatrefoil fabric on them so they’ve been recovered in a wonderful Chelsea Editions check ( that I only waited 5 MONTHS to receive!)
And they are now in my master bedroom sitting area
I’ve been wanting to get a small loveseat for up there & got super lucky when I found this on Craigslist!! It’s custom made with a nice linen upholstery & beautiful trim on the skirt
The coffee/end tables are from my living room as well. I think they’re a better scale for this smaller room ( I bought a new one for the living room)
My bed, dresser & nightstands are gone (sold them to a friend) so here is the current state of my bedroom. I also repainted. Although I loved the soft blue/green/gray color I had, it didn’t go well with the more taupey gray in the check fabric. The new color is similar without the greeny undertones. It’s Benjamin Moore Olympic Mountains

My mattresses are on the floor while I wait for my new iron canopy bed (to be delivered this Friday..yay!!) I ordered the one from Pottery Barn. Let’s hope I like it because I couldn’t see it in person since they don’t have it on the floor in any of their stores. I won’t like it if the iron feels cheap or hollow, but at least they have a great return policy. I’m hoping that won’t be necessary but we shall see. The painted nightstands are ones I got about 4-5 months ago and the bench was also recovered in the Chelsea check. I’ve switched out the curtains for just simple cream linen. I don’t want much pattern/color in here. don’t my new floors look awesome!

The check will probably be my only real pattern in the room. Oh, and look what else I found that I couldn’t walk away from….
You know about my putti fetish! I couldn’t help myself….. You just don’t see these every day and this one was way too beautiful with all it’s patina to not bring it home. It will be hung in my bedroom somewhere.
I still need to find a chest or small sideboard to set the tv on in the sitting room. I’m holding out for something special. I would love a nice antique.
I’m also wanting a tall narrow chest of drawers for the wall opposite the bed. Theres not much wall space so it can’t be too wide. I’ve been drooling over this Swedish antique one but just can’t bring myself to spend the money right now with all the kitchen projects
